  2. The Trini Way ought to be made into a regular radio programme. The content was wonderful and the host is talented. You ought to put out weekly episodes as a podcast or on YouTube.

  3. Reggae on the go

Overall the show was really good.
The audio was very clear and the levels were good, they stayed consistent throughout, I didn’t have to strain my ears to hear so that’s good.
Transitions from one song to the next was smooth and well mixed,

The presenters voice was clear and audible, he seems to enjoy hosting the show and it shows by the intonation he uses while speaking. He had one continuous speaking paste and he kept his voice at one level throughout too.

I like that he engaged the listeners by speaking throughout during his show, it made you feel like you were right there
I also like that when he was speaking over the music he lowed down the music, so you were able to hear what he was saying. As well as to my ears there weren’t any unnecessary background noises.

However during the fun facts the back track could have been a bit lower so you could hear better.

    Chill Vibe

I like that he didn’t talk during the songs, because then I was able to enjoy and sing to them without being interrupted.
the audio levels were the same throughout. the transition from segment to segment were smooth and well separated so you knew it was the start of a different one.
I like that he stated the name of each song so you knew what he was playing
I like the comedy aspect while he was talking to the listeners, the newscast was amazing tooo!!!!

His music choices blended well together, I also like that he kept remind the listeners, who he was and what station you were listening to.

There was also mispronunciation of one of the artist but that’s okay <3 we all make mistakes.

    Rave Wave

AMAZING SHOW!!! I really enjoyed it. her personality and vibe matched the show and you could tell she enjoyed hosting. the show was very engaging, as she kept taking and making conversation with the listeners. The song flowed well with each other from foreign to local music, there wasn’t any dead air during her show
She utilized her time well, there were so much songs and segments she was able to fit in just one hour.
I like that she didn’t talk through all the songs, some she would and others she’d just let it play, which allowed the listener to enjoy it in uninterrupted.

    The Trini Way

I like her personality throughout the duration of the show, it was really engaging kept you entertained since she was telling her experiences and things that we all can relate to, it was enjoyable and fun too listen to.
It was quite informing, and the facts were relatable to me, since it was about Trinidad. I also like that you could have clearly distinguished the segments of her show

Though the prerecorded material could have have been a bit louder also if she wasn’t sick :( it would have improved the show as well.

In the mood for good food

I love her show is was so different, unique and informative. She has a clear speaking voice which makes it easier you to understand what’s she saying and something about it makes her show engaging. I like that she had background music, it set the mood for her show and I like that was was low but still audible.
I also like that she did a recap, which is handy for listeners who may not have started listening from the beginning, they still were able to get a jist of what was previously talked about. i also like the fact that she was being real and you could hear her likes and dislikes from the intonation in her voice.
thought some segments could have been a bit louder but it was hella goooddd other than that

  7. VIBE NATION
I liked that the tone of the show remained consistent
Could have used a little more host/listener interaction.
The news was sudden. Wasn’t expecting it. Could have notified the listeners before.
    Same for traffic update.
Liked the little information plugs about the artist .
The interview sounds a little too scripted.

    REGGAE ON THE GO
During the Jamaica song, you spoke at least three times while it was playing. Maybe take a second to gather your thoughts and get everything across in one so it seems more coherent.
The vox pop session was hard to listen to because the background noise in the recording was a bit too loud.
The use of dialect given the nature of the should is good but at the same time it was a bit overused and became off putting.
Playing all songs in its entirety got boring.
When referring to the website, it was very vague. Should have named it, saying the url address to go on or something.
Song selections matched the show’s name and followed a distinctive tone.

    CHILL VIBE
The name of the show definitely suits it. Flows well.
    An overall enjoyable show.
    Intro a little over processed.
Enjoyed the conversation with the audience, sharing personal views and tastes.
Topics spoken about are relevant and up to date.
    “percifically” …..
Balanced mix of music and talk. At times the talk was a lot but it worked with the show.
    Love the rocky road commercial

    THE TRINI WAY
    That intro was fire.
    Funny, enjoyable and informative talk.
Segments were entertaining. The background music worked nicely for certain segments like the maxi chronicles. Made it easy to distinguish from the host's talk to a segment.
Enjoyed the vox pops and the poem segments. The delivery for the poems made the segment engaging. Could tell that the host enjoyed what she was doing.
Like that the use of show id was used after segments.
The show also reflects its name and that must be commended. Can definity feel the Trini culture reflected, from the topics discussed to the pan instrumental.

IN THE MOOD FOR GOOD FOOD

Could have had a little more audience interaction.
    Makes a great podcast.
Some word pronunciations were off and that was a bit off putting.
Liked that the background music changed for things like the vox pop. made it easy to distinguish that it was a different segment and stands on its own.
The recaps were a great way to help late listeners catch up on what was being discussed.

  8. Vibe Nation:

Very entertaining and all segments flowed smoothly into one another, the host was also very interactive with the audience. I honestly liked the choice of music because it appeals to my demographic. Audio wasn't balanced throughout the program though, it had some parts it was high some parts were a little too low.

    Chill Vibe:

Loved the news cast and And the sponsored commercial. The part where the sounds were broken down and talked about how it was made was also very enjoyable and informative.

    The Trini Way:

Talented host, honestly i can really sit down and take in a talk show because i'll just be tuned off but i actually enjoyed this one because of the segments were both entertaining and informative.
All in all it was a very well put together program.

    Rave Wave:

Show was great, it had alot of different genres in it which made it interesting. The host had a great " radio personality" and had enough energy to give off to her audience and produce a very lively show.

In The Mood for Good Food:

Interviews were well done, loved how you kept updating listeners that joined late. Very informative talk show and i actually enjoyed it even though it wasn't a music type format. learned alot and was entertaining. The segments mixed well which also kept me interested and it wasn't just you talking all the time.

  9. Mood for food
Very conversational approach in talking to listeners in an engaging manner. Quite a soothing and clear voice that is well suited to such an informative type programme as the one your crafted.
Informative show that well suits the magazine talk format
    Show ID too heavily processed
Audio levels of show fluctuate – prerecorded material comes in at lower volume than voice

    Rave wave
It is clear you enjoy what you do as a radio host.
Good mix of music and variety of segments to create an entertaining show.
Host should aim to sound natural rather than altering her voice to what some consider a “radio voice” which at times comes across as artificial. Also, avoid sudden shifts and changes in your accent because of who you are speaking to or interviewing. That too can come across as pretentious and turn off listeners.

  10. The Trini Way
This show reflected a very creative approach to the talk show format; an approach that can draw in listeners who might now gravitate to talk format radio.
Host sounds vibrant and comfortable in her own voice and being herself.
Audio levels fluctuate at times and should be maintained at a consistent volume; one ad was particularly very low such that is was barely audible.
Nice mix of voices and use of online voice sources to add variety to the show.
This was a very fun, engaging and yet informative show with a very engaging host who by being herself and letting her personality infuse the show, can attract listeners of all ages and all listening genres to her show. This makes for a very good radio magazine show.

    Chill Vibe
Good technique of acknowledging your mistakes and moving on smoothly from them.
Very informative segment on the story behind a song and presented in a conversational and illustrative manner.
You have a talent of creatively using your voice to sound like different persons.
Decide whether or not you will deliberately create a new voice/personality as you host your show and stick to that voice so that the audience is not confused or think that you are being pretentious when they hear the accent shift from a Trini accent to a foreign one.
Audio levels of show fluctuate and should be maintained at a consistent level.
Make use of your show id during long music mix segments so listeners who may have tuned in midway will be aware of what they are listening to.

  11. Reggae on the go
Host has a relaxed laid back voice that blends in well with the tone and mood of the songs he plays and the show in general. You come across as natural and being yourself which is excellent and the right approach for a radio show.
It is best to let a song play and then speak near or at the end of the song when the vocals have ended and the instrumental is playing as the song is coming to and end. Or speak during the instrumental portion at the start of a track before the vocals come in.
It may have been better to run the first commercial break at the start of the show or later in the show rather than so soon after starting the show and playing just one song.
When you played the most voted for reggae rhythm it would have helped the show to give some information about the rhythm itself.
Audio levels of show fluctuate and should be maintained at a consistent level.
Try to end your show more definitively such as, thanking listeners for tuning, or teasing what’s coming next on the radio, or mentioning what they can look forward to on your next show.

    Vibe Nation
Hosts sound comfortable and cheerful and should chat more with listeners.
Voice of host and music selections work well together (having same tone and feel) to help create a more cohesive show.
You managed to pack a lot of content (songs, segments, new items) into one hour and this is impressive and makes for a very good radio magazine show.
Make use of your show id during long music mix segments so listeners who may have tuned in midway will be aware of what they are listening to.
Playing several songs back to back in a radio magazine format serve as a segment and should be identified as such either by the host on air or with a special pre-recorded jingle.
